Lynn’s Student Writing Groups

Lynn Rosen is currently leading two Young Authors projects through New York Cares on Mondays and Saturdays. She encourages her students to write about issues that matter to them and incorporates their work into her latest publications. Students can choose to write or draw to express their concerns or their solutions to the issues all around them.

Lynn Rosen believes that the greatest insurance we can have for the future of our world is to encourage children early on to recognize injustices, defend those who can’t and always stand up for the things you believe in. With that philosophy in mind, Lynn’s writing is made all the more powerful by the voices of her students contributing their ideas.

Kids For Causes Spring Symposium

On March 24th 2018, at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott Hotel, Lynn’s Kids will be hosting an event on the importance of incorporating our younger generations into the efforts we make to ensure they inherit a safe and healthy world.

The Kids For Causes Symposium will be a conference style event to exchange information and ideas on how to best improve educational experiences for students while engaging their senses of compassion and encouraging them to stand up and defend those who can’t stand up for themselves. We will have speakers sharing their strategies and experiences with the group while we guide attending students in a variety of creative activities supporting causes. Our goal is to encourage children to be active and involved members of their community, to pay attention to the world around them and to learn to stand up for what they believe in.

As we get closer to the date, we will have more details of the schedule of events
